2-Minute Shower H2O Volume "Bucket" TestFirst, test your current shower(s) to determine the output water volume in gallons per minute (gpm). If you have more than one model, test them both. Even when a shower head is marked 2.5 gpm, it may be as high as six (6) gallons per minute or as low as 2.2 gpm, depending upon the water pressure into the building, the time of day and the number of stories of the building. The average savings from 2.5 gpm low flow showers when compared to the 1.5 gpm “Jet-Stream” Showerhead is fifty-five Percent (55%). If you are a business executive with tens, hundreds or even thousands of showers or a homeowner with one or more showers, it is easy to determine the Annual Utility Savings for one and ten years for the three (3) shower related utilities (water, sewage and heated water) by using this simple “Savings Calculator” located at this link: https://www.jet-streamshowerhead.net/calc.html. Enter the requested information beginning with the current shower’s water output volume in gallons per minute (gpm). If you do not know the local utility rates for water, sewage and hot water, the national average will be entered automatically. The remaining three (3) Shower Minutes, Number of Daily Showers and Number of Daily Showers are entered automatically, unless changes are entered manually. To start, you'll need:
For Proof Of Savings, here's what to do:
Caution! When you receive the 1.5 gpm "Jet-Stream" Showerhead, follow the 2-Minute Installation carefully as improper installation directly effects the quality of the shower! It is important that the swivel angle be at a 45 degrees, plus or minus 10 degrees when capturing the water from the output. Do not turn the swivel down more than 10 degrees to capture the water in the bucket! Move the bucket to the output of the shower head, maintaining the 45 degree angle.
Important! For a FREE 1-year and 10-year usage and dollar savings custom report that you can print and retain for your records, use our 2-Minute Savings Calculator to enter the bucket size and how long it took to fill it to get the Gallons Per Minute (gpm), along with your your number of showers and utility bill information.
